How to change PIN Pad interface settings
Check the instructions below to view different ways to set interface settings for various PIN Pads. Be sure to check back as we add support for new PIN Pads.
EMV Parameter Download

Invoice Number Missing
This error occurs when an EMV sale is attempted from the EMV test app and the invoice number is blank or missing.
Transaction Not Complete No Response from Pin Pad
This error occurs when a PIN pad does not respond to a request. To resolve this error, verify that the interface settings for the pad are correct.
Failed on Com Port Access
You get this error when Windows cannot open the com port set in the test app com port is selected in the EMV test app.
Transaction Not Complete
You get this error when the VX805 does not have an encryption key loaded to it.
License Expired
This message indicates one or more of the following factors relating to software or hardware license.
Error 206
This message indicates you received an error message that was generated by the credit card processor.
Error 03006 PRM Fail, PRM ERR, LDR Fail or LDR ERR
This error is displayed because the unit/software wasn’t able to make a socket connection for an unknown reason.
