Datacap and First Data add US EMV Support for Ingenico Group Smart Terminals

Chalfont, PA – Datacap Systems, leading integrated payments middleware provider, has completed a second round of US EMV level 3 certification with First Data to add support for Ingenico Group’s full line of Telium 2 EMV-enabled smart terminals for hundreds of POS packages. Point of Sale providers who have integrated to Datacap’s NETePay™ solution for semi-integrated payments now have plug and play access to the Ingenico Group payment acceptance solutions below via First Data’s Rapid Connect platform.

The Ingenico Group-specific certification marks Datacap’s second EMV release on the First Data Rapid Connect platform and adds new features including direct point -to -point encryption (P2PE), recurring tokens, and support for EMV Pay-At-Table using Ingenico Group’s Wi-Fi-enabled terminals. NETePay™, an industry-standard for payments software, provides hundreds of point of sale providers with the ability to deliver US EMV functionality via an evolving list of PIN Pads through a simple out-of-scope interface.
