Introduction
Georgia Military College (GMC), located in Milledgeville, GA, is a 2 year Community College with 14 campuses Statewide, and a Prep School on the Milledgeville Campus for grades 4-12. CAP Software was established in Fort Worth, Texas in 1978, by Chuck Atkinson. Challenge
GMC needed to upgrade their systems to comply with payment industry-standards such as US EMV credit & debit (chip cards) as well as to continue to use their established inventory and management system for college book rentals and GMC-related merchandise.
Solution
GMC uses CAP Software’s SellWise Pro Point of Sale with Datacap’s NETePay™ software and Verifone’s VX 805 PIN Pad. This cost-effective payments solution provides GMC with the ability to accept EMV chip & PIN, magstripe, EMV Debit, NFC/contactless and stored value gift card transactions. As GMC’s needs have changed, CAP’s SellWise Pro has helped accommodate GMC’s evolving payment needs with the addition of Datacap’s software. Datacap’s NETePay software is ideal for GMC because it allows them to send EMV transactions to virtually any payment processor(s) in North America, affording them true payments flexibility.
Results
