Verifone Datacap Configuration Not Found or Incorrect

We have recently identified an issue affecting Verifone devices following a Windows update. Some systems may display the following errors:

“Datacap Configuration Not Found or Incorrect”

or

“Transaction Not Complete – NAK error from PIN Pad”

We are actively investigating this issue with Verifone and will provide updates as they become available.

Resolution Steps:

Please ensure the Verifone PIN pad is disconnected during the uninstall/reinstall process and only reconnected once the drivers are successfully installed. To restore device functionality, please follow these steps:

1 Uninstall the Verifone drivers currently installed on the affected PC.

2 Reboot the PC to clear any residual driver conflicts.

3 Unplug the Verifone device.

4 Reinstall the Verifone drivers using the latest version available from Datacap support.
