More Certified Devices in Canada, Beginning with Moneris
If you support merchants in Canada, you have more hardware to work with. The latest release of DSIEMVClientX® (1.47) adds support for PAX PIN pads on Moneris, so the devices your Canadian merchants keep asking about are certified and ready through the Datacap integration you already have. No new build. No separate certification project.
The same release expanded PAX support for Global Payments Canada and Worldpay Core Canada, so all three platforms now offer a broader PAX lineup in Canada.
Cross-border support is a core part of what we do. One Datacap integration reaches processors in both the US and Canada, so when a merchant expands or is already established in the north, you are not starting a second integration or a second certification project to support them.

Datacap Releases SureTap™, a SoftPOS Solution for POS Providers
In case you missed it, we released SureTap last month. It turns a standard NFC-enabled Android device into a contactless payment terminal, with no dedicated payments hardware required.
For your SMB merchants, that means tap-to-pay right out of the box. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and contactless cards, on a device many of them already own. Deployment costs drop, onboarding gets simpler, and merchants who could never justify a terminal are suddenly in a position to transition to a modern point of sale system.
For you, most of the integration work is already done. SureTap uses the same Android API stack you use for traditional card-present terminals, so turning it on is a small task rather than a new project. It runs through the same Datacap gateway as everything else, so those transactions show up alongside credit, debit, ACH, eCommerce, and gift in one reporting dashboard, with unified settlement and reconciliation across countertop, mobile, unattended, online, and recurring payments.
SureTap is available today.

The Datacap Dev Portal MCP
Every integration starts the same way. A developer, a spec, and a lot of open tabs. The Datacap Dev Portal MCP closes most of them.
The MCP connects AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf to Datacap’s live developer documentation. Instead of searching the portal for the right documentation manually, your developers ask the question where they are already working and get an immediate answer sourced from our actual docs. It reads the live documentation, so the answers do not go stale when we ship a release.

More than 30 Bags, One Full Pantry
In July, our team collected kid-friendly food for the Keystone Opportunity Center in Souderton, PA. Their pantry supports more than 2,000 households across the Souderton Area School District facing food insecurity. These are our neighbors in the same school district where we work.
We set out to give back to our community. We ended up filling more than 30 bags of food, packed to the top. Watching the piles of food take over the office was a good reminder of how fast small contributions add up when everyone pitches in. We were proud of what we accomplished together as a team.
Datacap Partner Fantasy Football League for Charity
Only a few spots left – don’t miss out!
Our Partner Fantasy Football League for Charity is back for a 4th season, and we are filling the selection pool now.
The entry donation is $150, Datacap matches the total at the end of the season, and the league winner picks the charity all of it goes to. Past winners chose St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Make-A-Wish, and the RSPA Scholarship Fund. The winner also gets their name on the Datacap Partner League Trophy and a prize pack for their favorite NFL team.
The league is open to anyone at a Datacap partner company with one participant per company. Sign up for the selection pool and we will be in touch before the draft.
Datacap on Tour
Q2 2026 kept the Datacap team on the move, with more than five events across North America. We got to connect with partners across industries, talk through the challenges payments leaders are facing right now, and see how our solutions hold up in real-world environments.
RetailNOW 2026 is behind us, but we’re still thinking about it.
We showcased SureTap™ at our booth, and weren’t the only ones. It was running in partner booths across the floor, so thanks to the teams at Custom America, Winston POS, rpower, and Order Counter for putting it in front of people.
Our booth was busy from the second the floor opened, and the conversations turned out to be the best part of the week for us. Longtime partners and new faces alike told us what they’re building and what’s slowing them down, and complexity came up almost every time. New device requests, new processor requirements, and new payment types, are all landing at once while projects still have to ship.
We also took home Gold in the RSPA Vendor Awards of Excellence, which means a lot coming from the community we work in every day. It reflects our partners’ work as much as ours, so thank you to all.
