With this version of NETePay the SQL database support is removed. EMV settings and public keys are managed without storage in Microsoft SQL. Settings per terminal ID are stored in flat files in the folder “\Program Files (x86)\Datacap Systems\NETePayEMV\DATA_”. The EMVDBManager utility is no longer installed with this product.
There is one new merchant parameter – “EMV Contactless CVM Limit”. This value was previously managed in the SQL database. It is now a PSCS parameter. The value set (default $250) is used for all supported AIDs where EMV contactless is supported. This version supports the same five AIDs as the previous version (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB and Interac). No new transactions or features are added.
