Step 1

Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for Canadian EMV transactions.

Release notes for v1.43:

  1. For PAX devices, the Cancel button is now supported on the “Insert, Swipe or Tap Card” screen. The latest Canadian forms package is required to see the button. 

  2. For Global Payments, the value of the <CVM> response tag no longer has a value of “SIGN”.  There is never a case when a signature line is included on a Global Payments Canadian receipt.

  3. The expired production public keys are removed from the CAPKs loaded for PAX devices.

This version of the Bridge is built with the latest Store and Forward libraries.  This fixes a Store and Forward issue with a VoidSale, that was reported last month.

  • When applications are configured and running, the context menu now includes a new selection – Load Parameters (Stop/Start Director). The user can click one menu item to restart which will cause ePays to restart and reload parameters.
  • When a NETePay or GIFTePay window is opened, there are now four icons in the upper right corner that have the following functions.
    • View Merchant Parameters
    • PSCS
    • Email log
    • View log
