Support has been added for the PAX A800 PIN pad for Worldpay Canada. We have recently completed an EMV certification with Worldpay for Canada. The <PadType> value for the PAX A800 is “A800WPCoreDatacapE2E”. Payment processing is supported only via Hosted where the backend is Worldpay Core for Canada. The A800 must be loaded with the latest PxRetailer application (2.01.06) and the “Datacap2Can” forms package. The device must also be injected with a PAN encryption key for the Hosted platform.
There is a specific EMV configurations for PAX Worldpay Canada. The PAX A800 for Worldpay uses an attended EMV configuration. EMV (contact and contactless) is supported for Interac Debit and all major credit card brands. JCB contact and contactless is supported. CVM’s supported include All CVMs except Online PIN. For this reason, no PIN key is required. The contactless transaction limit and CVM limit is $250 for all cards except JCB and UnionPay. The contactless transaction limit and CVM limit for JCB and UnionPay is $100. None of the EMV settings can be modified by an ISV or merchant. These are the same settings used for PAX Global Canada.

Today, the Datacap NETePay Hosted Bridge for Canada is released at version 5.08.51. The rental app is released. This NETePay supports the latest Canadian client control – DSIEMVClientX version 1.46. Certified EMV devices supported via DSIEMVClientX for Hosted now includes the PAX A800 for WorldPay Core Canada.
This version of the Canadian Bridge includes Worldpay Core Canada as a Backend Processor choice. This version is built with the latest Public Keys (CAPKs) used during EMVParamDownload for Verifone devices for Global and Chase.
Worldpay Core Canada Multi-Merchant NETePay is now running in Production for Hosted.
In addition to the typical transaction set with Sale, Return, VoidSale, VoidReturn, and ZeroAuth, we are supporting Adjust after a Sale for Credit Cards for Worldpay. And we are supporting PreAuth, Incremental Auth (by Rec), Partial Reversal (by Rec) and PreAuthCapture (byRec) for Credit Cards for Worldpay.
Similar to Global Canada, you can include a Gratuity amount on a Sale.
For credit cards, EMV chip, EMV contactless, swipe and manual entry are supported.
For Interac debit cards, EMV chip and EMV contactless are supported.
