Step 1

Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

dsiEMVUS® 1.88

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for NETePay supporting a variety of EMV-enabled hardware options.

Release notes for v1.88

  1. Support was added for PrintReceipt for Ingenico Axium DX devices.  

  2. Now displays “Processing” on the PIN pad when performing a transaction with “UseLastCardID”.

  3. EBT cards are now allowed to be read clear from encrypted devices. 

  4. The EBT BIN list is updated.  This BIN list is used when allowing an EBT card to be read clear. 

  5. Axium devices are supported for Rapid Connect OnGuard FPE PAN encryption.  OnGuard FPE encryption would be used with an in-store Rapid Connect NETePay.  For Hosted, Axium devices use OnGuard SDE PAN encryption.  See new secure device values below. 

  6. Support added for ID TECH VP3350 with Bluefin PAN encryption.  Bluefin is supported via Hosted as a validated P2PE solution.  See new secure device value below. 

  7. For Ingenico Telium, Tetra and Axium devices, the ACK/NAK timeout is increased to 4 seconds.

Datacap’s ActiveX control for non-EMV transactions using NETePay and GIFTePay software that supports dozens of plug and play hardware options, including PIN Pads, Mag stripe readers, all-in-one touch terminals and contactless readers. dsiPDCX is included as part of the dsiEMVUS download, so this control only needs to be installed for non-EMV installs.

Release notes for v1.98

  1. For EBT transactions dsiPDCX now allows clear card data to be collected from encrypted devices.  This includes PAX, Ingenico Tetra and Verifone P400 devices.  dsiPDCX keeps a list of all of the EBT card BINs and allows those cards to be clear when processing EBT (Foodstamp or Cash).  
  2. If an ISV sends <FSABins>, this tag will be removed before passing the transaction on to NETePay.

NETePay Director provides a simplified installation process with go-forward remote software updates.

  • Support EMV FSA.  An EMVFSASale includes EMV tag data and possible online PIN.  Logic Engine (2.08) flag required for EMVFSASale for Heartland.  
  • Return first 6 digits of account number in the clear.

NETePay Director provides a simplified installation process with go-forward remote software updates.

This version is released following our PAX EMV device certification. 

In addition, NETePay supports the XML tag <CardNotPresent>Allow</CardNotPresent> to indicate that the card is not present for a manually keyed transaction. 

The latest libraries for Store and Forward and Local Batch Reporting are included.

  • The value of the InvoiceNo field is now sent to Portico in the “DirectMktInvoiceNbr” field for select Credit card transactions.

  • This version is built with the latest Store & Forward library (8.20). Version 8.20 includes a fix for Incremental Auth transactions when interwoven with multiple transaction sequences of PreAuth, Incremental Auth, Partial Reveral and PreAuthCapture. Each sequence is now forwarded in order, regardless of how the transactions were stored originally.

New build released 5/17/21 – <DirectMktData> removed.
