NETePay Global Payments Portico Host EMV - GPP

Please follow the steps below to complete your installation of NETePay Global Payments Portico Host EMV – GPP

Step 1

Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

dsiEMVUS® 1.93

Release date: 03/10/2026

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for NETePay supporting a variety of EMV-enabled hardware options.

For information on supported devices please see our Compatible devices page.

Release notes for v1.93

  1. Support added for <ProcessorToken> and <PayAcctRef> tags.  These tags will now pass through the client when included in transactions.  This is related to adding support for payment account reference to Chase Paymentech NETePay.  A valid payment account reference is a 29-character alphanumeric string.  The <ProcessorToken> request tag can be sent with one of the following values:  TokenRequested, PayAcctRefRequested or TokenAndPayAcctRefRequested.  A processor token will be returned in the <ProcessorToken> response tag.  A payment account reference will be returned in the <PayAcctRef> response tag.

  2. An EMV L3 certification was recently completed for the PAX IM30 for Heartland.  The device can be used with Voltage TEP2 PAN encryption along with a classic Heartland Portico NETePay.  The device can also be used with TDES DUKPT PAN encryption for Hosted.  The new Secure Device value is “EMV_IM30_HEARTLAND” when Voltage encrypted.  Secure Device values “EMV_IM30_DATACAP_E2E” and “EMV_IM30_DATACAP_BLUEFIN” were already available.

  1. All PAX EMV config files are updated to include ICS configurations (for contact) for EMV kernel v6.59.  Each time an EMVParamDownload is performed, one of eight EMV config files is loaded.  The file loaded depends on whether the device is attended or unattended, whether credit and debit are supported, if debit, is it preferred.  And if not credit and debit, is it just credit or just debit.  During an EMVParamDownload a signed config.xml file (systemcfg_4.0,0,01_SIG.zip) is loaded that sets the EMV kernel to v6.59.  The main reason for changing the EMV config files is to remove CVM Offline Plaintext PIN for unattended devices.  This is a new requirement for unattended devices.

  1. For the paymitv device (SecureDevice pamitvEMV_VP3350_DATACAP), support is added for the following TranCodes:  GetSuggestiveTIP, GetYesNo, GetMultipleChoice, GetPhoneNo and GetID.
