Step 1

Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

Datacap’s ActiveX control for non-EMV transactions using NETePay and GIFTePay software that supports dozens of plug and play hardware options, including PIN Pads, Mag stripe readers, all-in-one touch terminals and contactless readers. dsiPDCX is included as part of the dsiEMVUS download, so this control only needs to be installed for non-EMV installs.

  1. Four new BINs are added to the whitelisted gift card BINs that dsiPDCX checks for GetPrePaidStripe and GetPrePaidStripeAllTracks.  dsiPDCX will not return clear card data unless the card BIN and card account length are allowed. The new BINs include 305720 (14 long), and 500015, 634120, 812900 (all 16 long).  There is a new PAX whitelist available that includes all of the new BINs.  There are also new whitelist files (SECBIN files) for Ingenico RBA, UPP and ARC. The Datacap Distribution Loader and Payloader are using these new whitelists.

Step 2

Install NETePay EVO US EMV (TS) Host - VRH 5.08.53 - Rental

NETePay Director

NETePay Director provides a simplified installation process with go-forward remote software updates.

Release date: 08/25/2025

  1. Host message changes are included for MPos (SoftPOS) transactions identified by our TSYS analyst during the SoftPOS EMV certification.  Following the SoftPOS/Mpos certification, we now send a value of “H527” in the Version ID field (A42) to TSYS in all host messages. 

  2. A fix is included for EMV EBT transactions to return the correct remaining balance for Foodstamp and Cash.

  3. For in-store NETePay pull card type from AcqRefData on subsequent transactions.

  4. Send Authorization Indicator (Estimated or Final) to Summit for Amex.

  • When applications are configured and running, the context menu now includes a new selection – Load Parameters (Stop/Start Director). The user can click one menu item to restart which will cause ePays to restart and reload parameters.
  • When a NETePay or GIFTePay window is opened, there are now four icons in the upper right corner that have the following functions.
    • View Merchant Parameters
    • PSCS
    • Email log
    • View log
