dsiEMVUS® 1.85

Release date: 05/20/2025

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for NETePay supporting a variety of EMV-enabled hardware options.

For information on supported devices please see our Compatible devices page.

Release notes for v1.85

  1. Support for EMV Fleet cards added. The Fleet cards supported include Wright Express (WEX), Voyager and FleetCor/Fuelman. Chip is supported, contactless is not.  Fleet card prompting (Driver ID, Odometer, etc.) is added for PAX devices (attended and unattended).  PxRetailer version 2.00.93 or above should be used. EMV Fleet is supported and certified only through Fiserv – Rapid Connect.
  2. Support is added for an “unattended” IDTech VP7200 for Hosted. This is a device that supports only EMV contactless tap.  It requires an EMVParamDownload for setup. EMV Support should be set to Credit Only. EMV Cardholder Verification should be set to None. Credit Only, No CVM is the only configuration supported for this device.  For unattended, the Terminal Type is set to “25”.  Transactions will have the terminal type EMV tag (9F35) set to 25 rather than 21 for attended.  The device must have a Hosted PAN key injected for encryption.
  3. Support is added for a new amount confirmation option. To disable the amount confirmation AFTER entering a non-zero TIP amount or non-zero Cash Back amount, send in <OKAmount>DisallowAll</OKAmount>. With this option, there will be no amount confirmation before or after a TIP or Cash Back entry.
  4. For Axium devices, UnionPay contactless did not function for previous dsiEMVUS releases. This issue if fixed for this version of the client.
  5. For the PAX Aries 8, changes are implemented for fallback to magstripe.  Three chip failures are required before swipe will be accepted for a chip card.

For an encrypted device (PAX or Axium), when an integrator passes a list of eWIC BINs (typical for eWIC transactions) and the card data is read clear (because the BIN is in the gift whitelist), allow it be clear if it matches a BIN in the eWIC BIN list.  Do not return an error because it is clear.
