Please follow the steps below to complete your installation of NETePay Elavon Host EMV – ELH

Step 1

Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

  3. Ingenico Axium “Dim” settings are now set during an EMVParamDownload.  “arc/terminal/screen/dimTimeoutSec” = 300.  “arc/terminal/screen/lockTimeoutSec” = 0 

  4. For ID TECH devices, EMV tag 5F2D (language preference) is no longer converted after receiving the value from the device. The device sends the value as Hex ASCII which is exactly how it needs to be sent to payment services. This value is not sent to all payment services.  It is sent to TSYS.

Datacap’s ActiveX control for non-EMV transactions using NETePay and GIFTePay software that supports dozens of plug and play hardware options, including PIN Pads, Mag stripe readers, all-in-one touch terminals and contactless readers. dsiPDCX is included as part of the dsiEMVUS download, so this control only needs to be installed for non-EMV installs.

Release notes for v2.00

  1. Four new BINs are added to the whitelisted gift card BINs that dsiPDCX checks for GetPrePaidStripe and GetPrePaidStripeAllTracks.  dsiPDCX will not return clear card data unless the card BIN and card account length are allowed. The new BINs include 305720 (14 long), and 500015, 634120, 812900 (all 16 long).  There is a new PAX whitelist available that includes all of the new BINs.  There are also new whitelist files (SECBIN files) for Ingenico RBA, UPP and ARC. The Datacap Distribution Loader and Payloader are using these new whitelists.

Install NETePay Elavon Host EMV - ELH 5.06.18

NETePay Director

NETePay Director provides a simplified installation process with go-forward remote software updates.

Release date: 09/26/2025

The only change to this version is a change to the Elavon gateway URL. 

  • Production: prodgate01.viaconex.com
  • Test: certgate01.viaconex.com

Merchants using the EMV or non-EMV Elavon (Nova) Host-Based NETePay can upgrade to this NETePay.

  • When applications are configured and running, the context menu now includes a new selection – Load Parameters (Stop/Start Director). The user can click one menu item to restart which will cause ePays to restart and reload parameters.
  • When a NETePay or GIFTePay window is opened, there are now four icons in the upper right corner that have the following functions.
    • View Merchant Parameters
    • PSCS
    • Email log
    • View log

NETePay Director

NETePay Director provides a simplified installation process with go-forward remote software updates.

Release date: 12/15/2020

The only change is to the production URL used to connect to Elavon’s public IP gateway.

Elavon put up a new public IP endpoint using the URL “prodgate02.viaconex.com”. The SSL certificate uses an Entrust root certificate. Elavon would like all Class B merchants to move to this new environment. Merchants can now upgrade to this new version of NETePay which connects to “prodgate02”.

Elavon’s URL has been changed to prodgate.viaconex.com. The new URLs support only TLS 1.2. This is important to note because all versions of Windows prior to 7 and Server 2008 R2 do not support TLS 1.2.
