Support has been added for the PAX PIN pads for Moneris. Earlier this year we completed an EMV certification with Moneris for Canada. We have also added additional PAX PIN pads for Global Payments and Worldpay Core. The new PadType values are listed below. A new function is added to list all support PayTypes. The function call is GetPadTypesInfo ().
For Moneris, payment processing is supported only via NETePay Hosted™. PAX devices for Moneris must be loaded with PxRetailer application 2.01.06 or above and the “Datacap2Can” forms package. The device must also be injected with a PAN encryption key for the NETePay Hosted platform.
There is a specific EMV configuration for PAX Moneris Canada. This EMV configuration is loaded during an EMVParamDownload. For Moneris, all PAX devices use an attended EMV configuration. EMV (contact and contactless) is supported for Interac Debit and all major credit card brands except UnionPay.
CVM’s supported include All CVMs except Online PIN. For this reason, no PIN key is required. The contactless transaction limit and CVM limit is $250 for all cards except JCB. The contactless transaction limit and CVM limit for JCB is $100. None of the EMV settings can be modified by an ISV or merchant. These are the same CVM settings used for PAX Global Canada.

Today, the Datacap NETePay Hosted Bridge for Canada is released at version 5.09.60. The rental app is released. This NETePay supports the latest Canadian client control – DSIEMVClientX version 1.47. Certified EMV devices supported via DSIEMVClientX for Hosted now includes the PAX A35, A920PRO, A920MAX and A800 for Moneris Canada. Additional PAX devices are currently being added to DSIEMVClientX prior to release.
This version of the Canadian Bridge includes Moneris Canada as a Backend Processor choice.
Moneris Canada Multi-Merchant NETePay is now running in Production for Hosted.
In addition to the typical transaction set with Sale, Return, VoidSale, VoidReturn, and ZeroAuth, we are supporting PreAuth, Partial Reversal (by Rec) and PreAuthCapture (byRec) for Credit Cards for Moneris. Also, PreAuth, PreAuthCapture (byRec) is supported for Interac Debit.
Similar to Global Canada, you can include a Gratuity amount on a Sale.
For credit cards, EMV chip, EMV contactless, swipe and manual entry are supported.

Certified EMV devices supported via DSIEMVClientX for Hosted now includes the PAX A800 for WorldPay Core Canada.
This version of the Canadian Bridge includes Worldpay Core Canada as a Backend Processor choice. This version is built with the latest Public Keys (CAPKs) used during EMVParamDownload for Verifone devices for Global and Chase.
Worldpay Core Canada Multi-Merchant NETePay is now running in Production for Hosted.
In addition to the typical transaction set with Sale, Return, VoidSale, VoidReturn, and ZeroAuth, we are supporting Adjust after a Sale for Credit Cards for Worldpay. And we are supporting PreAuth, Incremental Auth (by Rec), Partial Reversal (by Rec) and PreAuthCapture (byRec) for Credit Cards for Worldpay.
