Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

Datacap’s ActiveX control for non-EMV transactions using NETePay and GIFTePay software that supports dozens of plug and play hardware options, including PIN Pads, Mag stripe readers, all-in-one touch terminals and contactless readers. dsiPDCX is included as part of the dsiEMVUS download, so this control only needs to be installed for non-EMV installs.

  1. Four new BINs are added to the whitelisted gift card BINs that dsiPDCX checks for GetPrePaidStripe and GetPrePaidStripeAllTracks.  dsiPDCX will not return clear card data unless the card BIN and card account length are allowed. The new BINs include 305720 (14 long), and 500015, 634120, 812900 (all 16 long).  There is a new PAX whitelist available that includes all of the new BINs.  There are also new whitelist files (SECBIN files) for Ingenico RBA, UPP and ARC. The Datacap Distribution Loader and Payloader are using these new whitelists.

NETePay Director

NETePay Director provides a simplified installation process with go-forward remote software updates.

  • Support is added for EVO SNAP host messaging version 2.1.36.  EVO fixed an issue for EMV chip card ZeroAuth transactions. 
  • Support is added for Incremental Authorization and Partial Reversal transactions for credit cards.  One or more Incremental Auths may follow a PreAuth transaction.  This can be followed by a single Partial Reversal.  And finally, a PreAuthCapture is used to finalize the payment. 
  • An EMV brand certification was completed for PAX devices.  There is still a Visa Debit transaction to be run when EVO and FIS are ready.

  • When applications are configured and running, the context menu now includes a new selection – Load Parameters (Stop/Start Director). The user can click one menu item to restart which will cause ePays to restart and reload parameters.
  • When a NETePay or GIFTePay window is opened, there are now four icons in the upper right corner that have the following functions.
    • View Merchant Parameters
    • PSCS
    • Email log
    • View log
