Step 1

Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

  1. Two changes are included to address new firmware for the ID TECH VP3350.  A workaround was implemented for a CRC bug and the whitelist previously implemented was removed. Testing was performed with the new ID TECH firmware, v 1.02.065.2617 as well as the older firmware.

Datacap’s ActiveX control for non-EMV transactions using NETePay and GIFTePay software that supports dozens of plug and play hardware options, including PIN Pads, Mag stripe readers, all-in-one touch terminals and contactless readers. dsiPDCX is included as part of the dsiEMVUS download, so this control only needs to be installed for non-EMV installs.

  1. Gift card BIN range added for GetPrePaidStripe, GetPrePaidStripeAllTracks.  BIN is 355580.  Account number length is 14 digits.  Ingenico Tetra SECBIN file is updated to include this BIN.  Allows manual entry.

Install NETePay Sterling US EMV (TS) Host - VRH 5.09.61 - Rental

NETePay Director

NETePay Director provides a simplified installation process with go-forward remote software updates.

  1. Host message changes are included to supply the Merchant City, Merchant Zip and Amex DBA Name for all Amex transactions.  During our EMV L3 certification for Datecs unattended devices, our TSYS analyst identified these changes for Amex.  Following the Datecs certification, we now send a value of “H528” in the Version ID field (A42) to TSYS in all host messages.
  2. Support is included for Card Brand / Network Tokens.  When performing an initial transaction, the network token cryptogram fetched by the Logic Engine is sent to TSYS and included in the host message along with the network token.
  3. Card-On-File changes are included to allow initial In-App Ecommerce transactions to be identified as using a DPAN.  This allows subsequent COF transactions to be built with security level indicators that allow such transactions to succeed.
  4. A Mastercard issue identified as an “undefined authorization” has been fixed. When the authorization indicator (A130) indicates “PreAuth” (P), then the transaction status value (A21/B14) must also indicate “PreAuth” (4).
  5. The latest libraries are built into this version of the NETePay Bridge.  S&F forwarding includes the 3 second delay between transactions.

  • When applications are configured and running, the context menu now includes a new selection – Load Parameters (Stop/Start Director). The user can click one menu item to restart which will cause ePays to restart and reload parameters.
  • When a NETePay or GIFTePay window is opened, there are now four icons in the upper right corner that have the following functions.
    • View Merchant Parameters
    • PSCS
    • Email log
    • View log
