Error 110 No Dial Tone

The device did not detect dial tone while attempting to communicate to processor. This often happens when a dial prefix is required or a tone has indicated a voicemail on the line. 


  • The user should reinitialize the modem and check all cable connections.

  • If possible, plug in a handset and check for dial tone.

  • If problem persists, contact phone company for service.

If a dial prefix (8, or 9,) is necessary to obtain an outside line, log into PSCS and update the deployment to reflect this. Contact Datacap tech support for assistance.
