Release notes for v1.81

  1. Support is added for the Ingenico Lane/3600 for Mercury (Worldpay IP) following an EMV L3 certification.  For Ingenico Tetra devices running UPP 7.xx.58 or above, PIN bypass is now allowed for UnionPay contactless.  This includes a new configuration setting for the UnionPay AID to not update the TVR for contactless PIN bypass.  New SecureDevice value is below.  The Lane/3600 was previously released for Hosted.  Ingenico Tetra Amex contactless was broken with version 1.80.  It is now fixed with version 1.81.

  2. Support is added for PAX Soft Contactless CVM limits.  It requires PAX PxRetailer version 2.00.83 or above.  All eight EMV configuration files have been modified to include a new setting “<UsePOSSuppliedCVMLimits>1</UsePOSSuppliedCVMLimits>”.  When Debit is configured, the Contactless CVM limit is set to zero for the following Debit AIDs:
    • A0000000043060 – International Maestro Debit

    • A0000000042203 – U.S. Maestro Debit

    • A0000000044542 – EMV EBT

    • A0000000033010 – Interlink Debit

    • A0000000980840 – Visa Common Debit

    • A0000001524010 – Discover Common Debit

    • A000000333010101 – UnionPay Debit

    • A000000333010108 – UnionPay Common Debit

This forces an Online PIN prompt for contactless Debit

  3. PAX Google SmartTap is supported allowing a SmartTap pass to be read from a phone.  The TranCode GetVASData used to read an Apple VAS pass is also the TranCode used to read a Google SmartTap pass.  GetVASData requires PAX PxRetailer 2.00.80 or above and a proper PAX PxWalletLink XML configuration file to be loaded.  A Google SmartTap pass is returned encrypted.  This requires the PAX device to be loaded with a key that is known by the POS so that the pass can be decrypted once received.
