NETePay Director

Please follow the steps below to complete the installation of the NETePay Director

Step 1

Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

dsiEMVUS® 1.86

Release date: 07/11/2025

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for NETePay supporting a variety of EMV-enabled hardware options.

For information on supported devices please see our Compatible devices page.

Release notes for v1.86

  1. The CustomAmountFormat is now supported for Ingenico Axium devices.
  2. The new <CardholderAuthentication> tag now passes through dsiEMVUS.  This tag is supported by the Paymentech Netconnect NETePay for POPID.
  3. Support is added for a new TranCode – GetCollectedCardData.  GetCollectedCardData is similar to GetPrePaidStripeAllTracks which returns clear card data if returned by an encrypted device due to the fact that the card’s BIN is whitelisted. This TranCode accepts UseLastCardID and is usable in conjunction with CollectCardData.   Initially, it is supported for the IDTech VP3350 specifically for the Fincretive / Benefit Card opportunity.  We do know that Fincretive is now going with the PAX A35.  The next version of dsiEMVUS will address GetCollectedCardData for the PAX A35.
  4. With the latest IDTech VP3350 firmware (VP3350 FW v1.01.003.2506.T), dsiEMVUS supports the unsigned command to set the account number masking to first 6 digits and last 4 digits clear.
  5. For EMV EBT, the <HealthIncentive> tag is now passed through dsiEMVUS.  This tag was initially supported for non-EMV EBT via dsiPDCX.  A modification to RapidConnect NETePay is also required so that <HealthyIncentive> is supported for EMV EBT.

Windows11 Pro / 10 Pro / Server 2019 / Server 2016

OR

dsiPDCX® 1.98

Release date: 07/17/2025

Datacap’s ActiveX control for non-EMV transactions using NETePay and GIFTePay software that supports dozens of plug and play hardware options, including PIN Pads, Mag stripe readers, all-in-one touch terminals and contactless readers. dsiPDCX is included as part of the dsiEMVUS download, so this control only needs to be installed for non-EMV installs.

Release notes for v1.98

  1. For EBT transactions dsiPDCX now allows clear card data to be collected from encrypted devices.  This includes PAX, Ingenico Tetra and Verifone P400 devices.  dsiPDCX keeps a list of all of the EBT card BINs and allows those cards to be clear when processing EBT (Foodstamp or Cash).
  2. If an ISV sends <FSABins>, this tag will be removed before passing the transaction on to NETePay.
