NETePay Director

Please follow the steps below to complete the installation of the NETePay Director

Step 1

Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay, your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

dsiEMVUS® 1.84

Release date: 04/10/2025

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for NETePay supporting a variety of EMV-enabled hardware options.

For information on supported devices please see our Compatible devices page.

Release notes for v1.84

  1. Support for PAX soft contactless transaction limits is added.  The contactless transaction limit sent from the local NETePay is used to override the transaction limit included in the signed PAX EMV configuration file.  Most NETePays currently send a contactless transaction limit of $999999.98.  However, the current NETePay Hosted Bridge has a parameter setting for the contactless transaction limit. Other NETePays will have a parameter added in the future for contactless transaction limit. For this feature to work, PxRetailer version 2.00.89 or above is required.

  2. The VP3350 reboot time can now be set during an EMVParamDownload.  Include the tag <PinPadRebootTime>HHMM</PinPadRebootTime> as part of an EMVParamDownload. HHMM should be the local time for reboot  (i.e. 0400 for 4AM).

  3. CollectCardData can now be used for IDTech VP devices. Testing was done with the VP3350 and VP7200.

  4. Support is added for the IDTech VP7200 for Hosted. This is a device that supports only EMV contactless tap. It requires an EMVParamDownload for setup.  EMV Support should be set to Credit Only.  EMV Cardholder Verification should be set to None.  Credit Only, No CVM is the only configuration supported for this device. The device must have a Hosted PAN key injected for encryption.

dsiPDCX® 1.97

Release date: 04/10/2025

Datacap’s ActiveX control for non-EMV transactions using NETePay and GIFTePay software that supports dozens of plug and play hardware options, including PIN Pads, Mag stripe readers, all-in-one touch terminals and contactless readers. dsiPDCX is included as part of the dsiEMVUS download, so this control only needs to be installed for non-EMV installs.

Release notes for v1.97

  1. The whitelist that dsiPDCX uses for GetPrePaidStripeAllTracks is updated for BIN range 60007 to 600075.  The length is now 16 to 19 digits.

  2. For an encrypted device (PAX or Axium), when an integrator passes a list of eWIC BINs (typical for eWIC transactions) and the card data is read clear (because the BIN is in the gift whitelist), allow it be clear if it matches a BIN in the eWIC BIN list.  Do not return an error because it is clear.
