Ingenico iUC 285 – Serial Connection

What do I need to connect the iUC 285?

Ingenico iUC 285
Ingenico iUC 285 serial cable
Ingenico iUC 285 USB cable (supplies power for serial connections)
Included serial cable adaptor (for TranCloud)

1.) Plug included Serial Cable Adaptor into MSR/PIN Pad port on TranCloud.
Do not use the ECR/AUX Port.

2.) Plug iUC 285 serial cable into back of iUC 285 and to the serial cable adaptor connected to TranCloud.

3.) Connect iUC 285 USB cable to the back of the iUC 285 and to power/your kiosk application.

Note: iUC 285 will turn on once it’s connected to power.

4.) Connect TranCloud to 120V power outlet using included TranCloud power supply.
