Chalfont, PA – Great news! NETePay for TSYS-HCS is certified and available. It utilizes the new TSYS Processing Solutions (previously known as Vital and as Visanet) host-based internet processing service, via their new Summit Gateway. TSYS is currently planning host-based processing availability beginning June 1, for retail and restaurant customers.
The new TSYS/Vital NETePay has all of the key, preferred, host-based benefits, including simplified high speed transaction processing, enhanced ‘problem tolerance’ and streamlined batch management and end-of-day processes using auto batch close/settle. TSYS Processing Solutions retail and restaurant users will now be able to benefit with the significant and loudly touted host-based advantages. The new TSYS host-based service also supports new partial authorization credit card capabilities (aka split tender auths), introduced to better accept Visa and MasterCard gift/prepaid cards, which are handled like credit cards at the POS. This new TSYS host is great news for retailers who want to use TSYS but also value host-based benefits and advantages. Now they can have both. And TSYS also joins the short list of processors who can support table-service restaurants on a host-based platform.
