NETePay™ Dial Back up Now Available

Chalfont, PA — Nov 2006 – Datacap Systems is pleased to announce initial availability of automatic Dial Back-up for NETePayä users. This optional new feature enables even more reliable payment processing by using independent, redundant and fully automatic dial back-up directly to the payment processing host. This is very important for retailers who value always being able to accept and authorize electronic payments. If the store’s IP connection is interrupted for any reason, NETePay Dial Back-up switches automatically to a dial-up connection to the host. This dial back-up method is superior to router dial back-up, since an independent dial-up phone connection is established directly into the payment processing host, rather than to another contact point at the ISP. And it is automatic, so store personnel do not need to worry about whether the IP connection is available, nor about switching from IP to dial-up and back.

Retailers who want to order optional Dial Back-up need a current NETePay version that supports this new feature. NETePay Dial Back-up includes IP/Dial Bridge software and a fast connect Datacap DialLinkä Modem. The DialLinkä Modem is designed specifically to connect to payment services without spending time negotiating to the correct baud rate, which can be a time-saving feature compared to using other available modems.
