These solutions are currently in use at thousands of locations running tens of millions of transactions annually.

Datacap Systems develops processor and hardware-agnostic omnichannel payment solutions for any Point of Sale, regardless of system architecture.

Challenges

White House Gifts was looking to upgrade their checkout to a modern, easier-to-use experience for their retail store. So, White House Gifts turned to POSitive Technology and Datacap.

Solution

White House Gifts uses POSitive Technology’s OpSuite POS with their custom reporting dashboard alongside Datacap’s DC Direct™ solution and the Ingenico Lane/3000 PIN pad.

OpSuite POS is an easy-to-use Point Of Sale application that runs locally so that its always available and ready to serve customers. With OpSuite POS, most users can be trained within minutes. OpSuite’s reporting dashboard shows real-time reporting for credit and supported gift transactions for White House Gifts.

DC Direct is a modern processor and hardware-agnostic payments solution where payment apps reside directly on the payment devices. DC Direct is available across multiple hardware OEMs and is remotely configurable in both stand-alone and semi-integrated modes.

Results

“White House Gifts has worked with Positive Technology for many years. The OpSuite system works to fulfill our needs as a POS and inventory system. Service is a big requirement for us as we operate 363 days per year. Having access to POSitive Technology’s support services is critical to meet the needs of our business.” said Alesia Jones, Vice President, White House Gifts.

“With Datacap, we brought modern payment terminals that allowed us to improve the technology and reliability at White House Gifts while simplifying the deployment footprint within the store,” said Mike Nicholson, COO, POSitive Technology.
